The Bali are located in the Eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo, statues and tribal art in general from this region is quite rare and hence not a lot of information is known on the functionality of the figures from this tribe, we are yet to ascertain the function of this mask. This is an old female Bali statue with a shiny dark brown patina,this standing figure has a stunning face and quite elaborate features,it is without a doubt an old bush collected figure.
