Description
This stool originates from the Hehe tribe an ethnic group based in Iringa Region in south-central Tanzania. This rare four-legged stool is elegantly carved and considered as everyday objects. They were also used for sitting whilst milking cows/goats. The edges of this stool are worn and scuffed from everyday use. This does not take away the lovely style this stool holds. This stool has a dark patina, looks old and finely finished.
