Description

The Nyindu masks have features similar to the Lega Masks,the Nyindu masks usually have finely drilled  holes and a rather pronouced nose and a large rectangular mask which is some what a  characteristic of Lega aesthetic preference.The following masks were rarely worn on the face but  they were displayed during rituals on other parts of the body or possibly placed in a basket.Masks of this kind are extremely rare to come across,the following Nyindu mask is made from light wood and looks visibly old.
